7. Send a Text Blast using Text-Calibur
Welcome to the Text-Calibur training guide. In this guide we will introduce you to everything you need to know to complete your first send. Topics that we will cover include how to make a campaign, how to add subscribers to a campaign, creating keywords, adding ‘trigger’ messages to your feeds and how to send a ‘message blast’.
Send a Text Blast using Text-Calibur
Sending a Message, otherwise known as a Text-Blast, is the process of creating and sending the first message your Leads will see.
- Click Messages on the Menu to the left of your Dashboard.
- Click Add to begin creating a New Message.
- Create your Message.

- This will be the first thing your Leads will see
- Put your Keywords and Call to Action in this message

- This is an example Message.
- Select the Message Type.
- Either Text Blast or Campaign Subscribed.
- Blast: Sends a Message to the Leads in your list.
- Subscribed: Sends a Message to Leads who have Responded to the Campaign you choose.
- Blast is the Default.
- Select which Campaign you’d like to send your Message to.
- Choose the proper Campaign from the drop-down menu.
- Once these steps are complete, you are ready to schedule your Send.
- Click Campaign Schedule will bring up a calendar
- You will start by selecting the Date you want the Send to begin.
- You will then select the Time you want the Send to begin.
